The former Children’s Court at 50 Quay Street has now been demolished as part of the Queensland government’s affordable and social housing projects.

Investment manager, Cedar Pacific, has been selected to deliver a 32-storey, 475 apartment development on the site of the former Children’s Court at 50 Quay Street under the state’s Build-to-Rent pilot project, and Hutchinson Builders have been awarded the contract for the new build.

In 2023, Cogent erected perimeter scaffold to assist in the demolition of this project and we have now been selected to provide the scaffolding services and form support on the new build, working with Hutchies.

This project is due for completion in 2027.
