OUR COMPANY

Cogent Scaffolding is one of Queensland’s largest, 100% privately owned scaffolding companies offering specialised, value-added scaffolding services to the commercial construction, industrial, civil and resource industries.

We have over 120 skilled and qualified Scaffolders, Leading Hands and HSR’s, as well as our management teams consisting of Project Managers, Site Supervisors, In-House Scaffold Designers, Engineers, Safety & HR Specialists and Accounting Teams.

Our business was born in 2003 and now, 20 years later, we provide the most professional scaffolding experience across more than $30 Million in works annually in Queensland and New South Wales.

EXPERIENCE

Our experience is invaluable in understanding primarily how to design and construct scaffolding to suit any commercial or industrial project, but also how to run a successful company that centres around taking pride in what we do, creating a great company culture, and to always work to the best of our ability.

Cogent has been operating for 20 years, and in this time we have completed a wide range of projects throughout Queensland and New South Wales including high-rise towers, hospitals, Government projects, apartment buildings, silos, tunnels such as the Airport Link and Legacy Way, bridges, shopping centres, casinos and entertainment precincts, such as the Queen’s Wharf development in Brisbane.

LEADERSHIP

Our Management Team are highly experienced and we actively recruit and retain only the best. We have a unique administrative support model that works hard to support our scaffolders and work crews. We are a professional development company and we hold regular professional development training sessions for our staff and scaffolders.

TRAINING

At Cogent Scaffolding, the training of our work crews is very important as we know that you, the client, will benefit enormously from this. To this end we document all of our crews training records and keep them up to date at all times. We have also developed intensive internal training programs as well as regularly upskilling our scaffolders in the Cert III in Scaffolding courses.

SAFETY

Safety is of utmost importance to us. To this end, we have in place an Occupational Health & Safety Management system, which has been independently certified to comply with the ISO 45001 standard. The safety of our sites and of our scaffolders is our number one priority and we work hard to maintain our safety management systems. Ensuring that our scaffolders return home to their families each night is critical to Cogent Scaffolding.

QUALITY

We have implemented a Quality Management system which has also been independently certified to comply with the ISO 9001 standard. We’re serious about only providing our clients with the best service possible. Our systems are regularly audited both internally and externally and to date we have not had a single non-conformance; a fact that we are proud of.
