PA Hospital Redevelopment, Project Update

Works continue to progress steadily on the PA Hospital Redevelopment, with perimeter scaffolding now erected to Level 6. Cogent Scaffolding remains active on site, delivering critical access, edge protection and containment systems to support ongoing structural and façade works across the building footprint.

As shown in the latest site photos, the scaffold wrap and containment systems are playing a critical role in maintaining safety, weather protection and environmental controls, while allowing construction activities to continue efficiently within a constrained urban footprint. This is particularly important given the hospital’s ongoing operations and the proximity to surrounding infrastructure.

Working closely with John Holland and project stakeholders, our team continues to adapt scaffold solutions to suit evolving site conditions, crane movements and staging requirements. Detailed planning and sequencing remain key, ensuring access is available where and when it’s needed without impacting critical hospital services.

The PA Hospital expansion is a flagship health infrastructure project for Metro South Health, and we’re proud to be supporting its delivery with safe, reliable and well-engineered scaffolding solutions.
