Callista – Project Update

Callista – Project Update

Located in Brisbane’s vibrant West End, Callista on Park is the final residential stage of the landmark West Village precinct. Delivered by Hutchinson Builders, this 14-storey tower will bring 96 premium residences to one of Brisbane’s most sought-after urban renewal addresses.

Since our last update in November, construction momentum has continued to build and Cogent’s scaffolding package is now entering its final vertical stages.

Scaffolding Progress

The perimeter scaffold is now almost at full height, with just one level remaining before roof scaffolding commences. This marks a significant milestone for the project and reflects strong coordination between Hutchies, site teams and our crew.

Our scope of works on Callista on Park includes:

  • Perimeter scaffold
  • Stretcher stair access
  • Lift core scaffold
  • Internal access solutions
  • Craneable stair systems
  • Handrail installation
  • Loading bays

As the structure rises, maintaining safe and efficient access across multiple work fronts has been critical. The integration of cranelable stairs and loading bays has supported material flow, while lift core scaffold and internal access systems have ensured continuity of works within the structure.

A Decade-Long Partnership

Cogent and Hutchies have worked across every stage of the West Village precinct since 2015. Securing the scaffolding package for Callista on Park continues that long-standing relationship and closes out our involvement in what has been a decade of transformation on this historic site.

With the perimeter scaffold nearing full height and roof works about to begin, Callista on Park is taking its place on the West End skyline. For Cogent, this project reinforces our high-rise capability, our commitment to quality delivery, and the strength of our partnerships on complex inner-city developments.

As West Village evolves into one of Brisbane’s premier mixed-use destinations, we’re proud to have played a role in shaping its built environment from the ground up.
