The South Brisbane Gas & Light Company was a robust landmark of industrial progress, a classic example of the start grandeur of industrial architecture that valued forms as much as function.

Originally built in 1885 to provide gas street lighting to a rapidly developing city, the decades rolled from one century to the next, until the shift to natural gas forced the closure of the outdates gasworks.

Light & Co Apartments transform the classic lines and grandeur of the past’s industrial architecture into a stunning new interpretation of contemporary style and timeless beauty.

The two towers – Illuminate and Radiance –are home to 228 one, two and three bedroom luxury apartments with a range  of floor plans available to suit different purchasers.

Cogent will be providing the full scaffold package for this unique and exciting project in West End.
