About This Project

LOCATION: 155 Charlotte Street, Brisbane CBD

TYPE OF PROJECT: Commercial

YEAR(S): 2019-2021

CLIENT: Hutchinson Builders

CONSTRUCTION VALUE: $175M

This project will see two old Queensland Government towers (Health and Forestry House) be combined into one larger PCA A-Grade office tower in the middle of Brisbane’s CBD.

The significant upgrade and expansion will deliver a 5 Star Green Star rating as well as the first Silver WELL rated core and shell in Queensland.

It creates an average of 2,000m2 floor plates and will have a range of first-class integrated amenities to serve the modern workforce of today.

The restoration of the heritage Charlotte Street facade will be guided by Urbis and in strict accordance with Brisbane City Council’s heritage guidelines. It is proposed that the adjacent footpaths be widened to facilitate greater engagement with the heritage facade and the newly activated Mary Charlotte laneway.

Cogent Scaffolding has secured the scaffolding package for this unique regeneration project.
