10 Jun Tweed Valley Hospital – Project Update
The new seven-storey $723.3 million Tweed Valley Hospital development has reached a major milestone, hitting its highest point of construction.
The NSW Government will deliver a new, state-of-the-art hospital with more beds and increased healthcare services, along with interim upgrades at The Tweed Hospital. This is the largest regional capital health investment funded entirely by the NSW Government.
Cogent Scaffolding was awarded the scaffolding contact for this project in May 2021 and our scaffold is now at full height to level 8.
Our works have included helipad perimeter scaffold and access and we have additional Cranable stair access towers on-site to help out with access and egress.
Stairs 2,3, & 4 have been dismantled and 5,6,7, and 8 are still at full height. Our dismantle sequence is in full effect with the handrail being removed from lower levels this week. We are also completing lots of variation works and modifications to suit our client’s needs onsite.
It’s great to be working with Lendlease on this worthy health project in the Tweed Valley.
