Mangrove Walk, Queens Wharf – 3rd May 2019

Mangrove Walk, Queens Wharf – 3rd May 2019

Working with Waterway, Cogent Scaffolding is erecting catch scaffolding and edge protection for a bike and walkway, Mangrove Walk, that will run along the Brisbane River, as part of the Queens Wharf development.

The existing mangroves along the Brisbane River will become a feature for visitors to Queen’s Wharf Brisbane through the new Mangrove Walk.

In order to reach this tricky site, our scaffolders board boats each morning and actually complete the scaffolding work whilst on the boats.

As we can’t attach scaffold to the side of the structure, the scaffolding had to be fixed to the underside of the walkway. Waterway can then complete the topping slab to finish the walkways.
