Brisbane Quarter Stage 1 – The W Hotel

The redevelopment of the 300 George Street site will include the construction of three separate towers set atop a podium of three storeys with basement car parking. The site which formally housed Queensland’s old Supreme Courthouse will soon accommodate three ultra-modern glass towers.

The W Hotel will be the first of the three buildings to be constructed and will include 34 storeys, a seven-level basement, four-level podium and 312 rooms. The amenities and facilities offered onsite include a signature dining venue, 1,100 sqm of event space, state of the art spa and fitness facilities, as well as a pool and cocktail bar.

Future stages of the development will include the construction of a 40-level commercial office tower and an 82-level residential tower, which when completed will be Brisbane’s second tallest building, standing 262 metres high.

Working again with an absolute leader in the industry, Multiplex, we are thrilled to have been awarded the scaffolding package for this exciting new project in Brisbane’s CBD.

In 2019, The W Hotel Brisbane was recognised as “Project of the Year” (Brisbane) and “Project of the Year” (Queensland) at the Master Builders Association awards.
