Plans for the $450 million expansion and refurbishment of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre include the addition of around 30,000 square metres of new retail space comprising a new mall and fresh food area, 14,200 square metre David Jones department store, a new supermarket, additional parking spaces, significant upgrades to external facades and a facelift for existing retail precincts within the centre.

Cogent Scaffolding is erecting and dismantling over 3000 tonnes of scaffold required for this project. Each addition to the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has unique requirements in terms of the scaffold required, so Cogent has a number of different jobs being undertaken at the same time on-site, such as edge protection, bird cages, false work etc.
